For customers

How do I place an order?

Download the Doodle app from Google Play or the App Store. Search for a restaurant or store near you, add items to your cart, choose a delivery address and pay with M-Pesa.

What areas do you deliver to?

Doodle currently delivers across Kilifi County — including Kilifi Town, Mtwapa, Malindi and surrounding areas. We are expanding to more Kenyan cities including Mombasa and Nairobi soon.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery fees start from KES 99 and depend on distance. Doodle Pass subscribers get free delivery on every order.

How do I track my order?

After placing an order, you can see real-time GPS tracking of your rider on a live map in the app. You will also receive status updates at every stage.

What if something is wrong with my order?

Open the order in the app, tap "Report an issue" and describe the problem. You can upload a photo for faster resolution. Refunds for valid claims are processed within minutes.

Can I schedule an order for later?

Yes. During checkout, choose "Schedule for later" and pick a date and time. We will start preparing your order at the right moment so it arrives on time.

For drivers

How do I become a Doodle rider?

Apply online through our For Drivers page. You will need a national ID, a smartphone and a mode of transport (motorcycle, bicycle, car or on foot). We review applications within 24 hours.

How much can I earn?

Earnings depend on your vehicle, location and hours. Motorcycle riders in busy areas typically earn KES 1,500 to 3,000 per day. Rain bonuses and peak multipliers increase this further.

When do I get paid?

Your earnings go to your in-app wallet after each delivery. You can cash out to M-Pesa any time — there is no minimum balance.

Can I choose my own hours?

Gig drivers set their own schedule. Go online when you want, go offline when you are done. Full-time drivers work a fixed shift with guaranteed hourly pay.

Is there accident cover?

Yes. Every active delivery is covered by our rider safety programme, which includes medical expense coverage in case of accidents.

For merchants

How do I register as a merchant?

Visit our For Restaurants page and fill in the application form. We will review your details, verify your documents and set up your merchant account within 48 hours.

What is the commission rate?

Standard commission is 15% per fulfilled order. This includes payment processing, delivery, and customer support. Merchants with their own delivery fleet get a discount.

Do I need my own delivery riders?

No. Doodle provides the delivery fleet. However, if you have your own riders, you can use them for a lower commission rate.

How do I manage orders?

Use the Doodle Merchant Portal — a web-based dashboard where you can see incoming orders, manage your menu, track earnings and view analytics.

What happens if a customer complains?

Our support team handles initial triage. If a refund is needed, it comes from the Doodle platform — not from your account. We only charge commission on orders that are successfully delivered.
