How it started

We started Doodle because we believed Kenya deserved better. Better delivery times. Better rider pay. Better tools for the restaurants and shops that feed our communities every day.

Existing platforms treated smaller cities like an afterthought — copy-pasting models that worked in London or San Francisco. But Kenya is different. People give directions using landmarks, not street addresses. Payments happen through M-Pesa, not credit cards. And the food? The food is world-class, if you know where to look.

So we built Doodle from scratch, here, for here. Starting in Kilifi, on the Kenyan coast. AI that understands “past Total petrol station, blue gate on the left.” M-Pesa payments that work with a single tap. Real-time tracking so you always know where your order is. And fair economics so every restaurant, rider and customer benefits.
