Shape the look and feel of the Doodle experience — from the customer app to the merchant dashboard to the website you are reading right now.
What you will do
- Lead the design process from research and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes
- Conduct user research with customers, merchants and drivers in Kenya
- Maintain and evolve the Doodle design system
- Work with engineers to ship polished UI across mobile and web
- Run usability tests and iterate based on data and feedback
What we are looking for
- 3+ years experience in product or UI/UX design
- Strong portfolio showing mobile and web projects
- Proficiency in Figma
- Experience conducting user interviews and usability tests
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
Nice to have
- Experience designing for African or emerging markets
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and design tokens
- Familiarity with motion design (Lottie, Framer Motion)
