Personal accident cover
Every active delivery on Doodle is covered by our rider safety programme. If a rider is involved in an accident during an active delivery, we cover medical expenses up to a defined limit.
Route optimisation
Our geospatial AI calculates the safest and most efficient routes in real time. We avoid known accident hotspots and adjust routes during heavy rain or flooding.
Protective gear
New riders receive an insulated delivery bag and a reflective vest as part of their onboarding kit. We are working on partnerships to subsidise helmets for motorcycle riders.
No-penalty breaks
Gig drivers can go offline at any time with no penalty. We encourage riders to take breaks, especially during long shifts or extreme weather.
Reporting issues
Riders can report safety concerns, road hazards or vehicle issues directly through the driver app. Our support team monitors reports in real time and escalates urgent cases immediately.
